Our History:
Our company was founded in 1963 by Max Frandzel, who is still active in the
day-to-day business of the company. We maintain a large inventory based on the
premise, "if you don't have it, you can't sell it." Because of this
principle and commitment to our customers, Mid-West Lighting has become one
of the largest independent wholesale lighting companies in the United States.
Even so, we have never lost touch with our original core philosophy: to provide
the utmost value and service to our customers and vendors the two most
important components of our business.

Systems and Service:
Mid-West's telephone systems and faxes are available to our customers through
toll-free 800 numbers. We have implemented a simple shipping system that allows
for quick check of items received at the job site. Because we dedicate and stock
material to supply jobs on a required basis, we are able to allocate and work
with our vendors to keep the pipelines flowing. Our jobsite take-off service
is a convenient service to contractors, designers and homeowners. This gives
our sales team a more hands-on approach to the job which
relates into a more accurate lighting design and fixture selection.
